Samsung has announced the Galaxy Core Advance, a large-screened handset with a budget price tag.
The device is a new iteration of the Galaxy Core smartphone, with its display increased from 4.3 inches to 4.7 inches.
The phone maintains the 480 x 800 resolution of its predecessor, putting it up against the similarly-priced Nokia Lumia 625
.Powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor and 1GB of RAM, the Galaxy Core Advance runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and hosts a 5-megapixel camera on the rear.Other features include physical menu buttons, 8GB of internal storage expandable via microSD, and support for WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy, GPS and NFC.
Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy Core Advance will be released in the UK, but pricing and availability is yet to be announced.
